چکیده
The Aloe vera (L.) Burman f. pulp extract (AE), obtained from the inner parts of leaves, is rich in polysaccharides, including glucomannans, acemannans, pectic compounds, cellulose, and hemicelluloses; acemannan glucomannan are considered two main components responsible for most plant’s therapeutical properties. Besides having anti-inflammatory activity, these polysaccharides accelerate wound healing promote skin regeneration, thus they can be utilized products. objective this study was to develop mucilaginous-based hydrogels topical use psoriasis treatment. were prepared with 80% w/w A. mucilaginous gel, evaluating distinct polymers as gelling agent: 1% carbopol 940 (FC1 FC2) or 2% hydroxyethylcellulose (FH3 FH4). FC1, FC2, FH3 FH4 evaluated their organoleptic characteristics, rheological properties, pH content. Polysaccharide fractions (PFs) extracted AE used a group chemical markers characterized by infrared (IR) spectroscopy 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR). quantification raw material (AE) carried out using spectrophotometric techniques UV-VIS region. hydrogels-based FH4) had contents 6.76 4.01 mg/g, respectively. Formulations carbopol, FC1 8.69 9.17 respectively, an ideal application on psoriasis, addition good spreadability pseudoplastic thixotropic behavior. Considering results, hydrogel its keratolytic activity murine model hyperkeratinization. For that, 0.5 mL test formulations FPC (0.05% clobetasol propionate cream) topically applied proximal region adult rats daily 13 days. After euthanasia, approximately 2.5 cm portion each animal’s tail cut placed 10% buffered formalin. Then, fragment processed stained hematoxylin eosin (HE), results histological sections indicated 61% reduction stratum corneum animals treated (FC1G) 66% (PCG), compared that did not receive treatment (WTG). This led conclusion classic (clobetasol propionate), showed no significant difference, being effective controlling

BACKGROUND: Aloe vera, a succulent plant prevalent in hot, dry regions of Asia, Africa, and other areas, has been used in traditional medicine for many centuries. It is easily propagated in most places where the climate is hot and dry. The gel and dried latex obtained from aloe leaves are used for relief of constipation; for wound healing; and for treatment of burns, psoriasis, frostbite, ulcer...

Ingredients in Aloe Vera Gel Mannose and glucose are the most significant sugars found in the Aloe vera gel, and they can be used to assay the activity of Aloe vera. The gel contains important sterols which can have anti-inflammatory activity. Amino acids such as tryptophane and phenylaianine reduce inflammation. Studies have shown that vitamin C & B complex can maintain adrenalectomized animal...
